The REBOOT: Mindset Academy

REBOOT: Mindset Academy was founded by former National Rugby League players Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney, both of whom experienced significant challenges on and off the field, including the intense pressures of professional sport. Some of their off-field struggles were well publicised in the media, leading to serious personal consequences and affecting their loved ones and teammates.

Open and honest about their past experiences, Mitchell and Todd each reached a pivotal turning point—a moment of clarity that inspired them to take ownership of their choices, embrace meaningful lifestyle changes, and commit to a healthier, more positive future.

Motivated by a shared desire to help others navigate life’s challenges, Mitchell and Todd established the REBOOT: Mindset Academy, a registered charity dedicated to empowering individuals to realise their full potential.

The REBOOT: Mindset Academy programs cater to all age groups, with a strong focus on youth development, recognising the importance of early intervention in building resilience, confidence, and mental wellbeing. Offerings include mental health education, resilience training, leadership development, and life skills workshops—designed to inspire and support disengaged youth, those who are at risk of offending and for all school-aged children.  They work with a professional team of counsellors, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

At REBOOT: Mindset Academy, the mission is clear: to create lasting change by helping our youth and people of all ages unlock their strengths, build resilience, and lead purposeful, healthy lives.
